Open Plugable Specification (OPS) Players

Signbox supplies and installs state-of-the-art Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) players for simplified and future-proofed digital signage deployments. 

OPS allows for standardised PC-based players to slot directly into the back of compliant display screens.  Many of the major manufacturers of commercial-grade LCD and LED display screens like NEC, Mitsubishi and Samsung have models that already accommodate OPS standard players.  

With an OPS systems, instead of needing to extend video signals players to far-off screens either with long cables or expensive video extenders, the screen and player can be connected directly to the LAN in a drastically simplified network topology.

Commercial-grade OPS players are rated for up to 40,000 hours of use and can be used in always-on environments.
